Health Facilities Summit (Delegate Only) - Day 2

1:40 PM PANEL DISCUSSION: RESILIENT HEALTHCARE BY DESIGN: ADAPTING FACILITIES FOR CLIMATE EXTREMES

As climate change drives more frequent and extreme weather events, infrastructure must adapt. From hospitals to community facilities, the need for resilient, future-focused design has never been greater and balancing environmental sustainability with performance, cost, and community needs vital. Join our panel to explore climate adaptation strategies for critical infrastructure, including:

• Designing facilities to withstand extreme heat, storms, and other adverse conditions
• Funding climate-conscious maintenance and redevelopment choices
• Exploring environmentally sustainable solutions for heating and cooling
• Building infrastructure that supports clinical care and community response during climate-driven disruptions
