Chandima Hiyare-Hewage is the Executive Director, Infrastructure at East Metropolitan Health Service (WA) and an architect by training. She oversees EMHS’s near-$1B Asset Investment Program—from concept through delivery covering capital works, facilities, property and portfolio risk. Chandima led EMHS’s Strategic Asset Management Plan (2024–2033) and commissioned portfolio-wide condition audits to drive risk-based, value-for-money investment. She introduced a Power BI “single source of truth” dashboard that strengthened governance and decision-making and has stewarded complex live-hospital projects.
