eConnect Plus is a business support service company that has provided Mailroom services to the Health Industry since 2009. This year eConnect Plus will process 10 million letters on behalf of institutions such as: Monash Health, Western Health, Eastern Health, Peninsula Health, St Vincent’s Health, Cabrini Hospital, Alfred Health, Peter Mac Cancer Centre, Epworth Health and the Royal Eye and Ear.
We are market leaders in utilising Multi Line Optical Character Recognition (MLOCR) technology to read the address information from sealed mail, creating a data string and referencing the Australia Post addressing file and finally printing the correct delivery barcode onto each letter.
In response to a growing demand to send and receive information in a digital format, eConnect has leveraged the MLOCR technology to develop a desktop solution that can manage a single or batch file of documents. The solution, which is called CommSafe, has its official launch at this year’s Victorian Health week. Commsafe works in the following ways:
1. It is a Multi-Channel communication and documents delivery system via Print to Mail, Digital Mailbox, Web Portal, Email and extendable to more.
2. Through it’s well managed approach to communications, identity checks connections data to ensure the credentials of your connection to your patient (and other entities) are enforced. Through the built in management layer all communications and workflows are fully traceable.
3. Commsafe unites Personal and Business orientated views of communications into a single platform. Users perspective is applied through the Personal and Business sides of the solution.
4. In support of more complex communication fulfilment cycles, CommSafe has a Workflow toolset with standard functions native and is designed-configured to allow more workflows to be readily incorporated to meet expanding requirements.
